Protection vandalized file

File:Francesco Penta 2.jpg, for months someone, also with sockpuppets (via temporary accounts) requests this file for renaming. It's been declined many times now, and they keep editing this file, and keep trying to get it renamed. Protecting for temporary accounts and registered accounts that are new, please. It's from different IP-adresses, from the same IP-range. Hello, I am not a regular commons user, so I am not sure if there is somewhere better to report this. User:会黄 has been harassing me on en.wikipedia, and recently got blocked for personal attacks (calling me a nazi for making them follow the rules, how original). Creation protection of large intentional redcats

• Apply creation protection to the following titles: Category:W3c-nc-ET, Category:W3c-nc-Sq, Category:W3c-nc-Sr, Category:W3c-nc-A3, Category:W3c-nc-Tv, Category:W3c-nc-JN, Category:W3c-nc-BF, Category:W3c-nc-Ad, Category:W3c-nc-TC, Category:W3c-nc-EU, Category:W3c-nc-Sp, Category:W3c-nc-Sy, Category:W3c-nc-Bz, Category:Prov SirBin, Category:Blazajn
• Reason: These categories are used to house unchecked SVG files of various types, and they are (according to this log and this discussion) deliberately kept uncreated for visibility. @Kontributor 2K: is better involved in this may have further information.
• Purpose: This is not to counter vandalism, but rather to prevent accidental good-faith creation of the titles. I am personally currently working on reducing the Special:WantedCategories backlog in which they often show up, and presumably other users may encounter the larger ones. So creation protection would communicate the categories' intentions well.

For the record, I have blocked RealFlagSubdivisioner and about to revert their edits removing other people's comments in deletion discussions, putting in an "unblock" request for another account, etc.. I'm guessing this is the return of some blocked user, but even without that, enough to block. @Jmabel: Can you take a look at the file renaming category? There's a bunch of flag file rename requests from a new account User:Chronotak with 33 edits. File:Morocco Flag Map (including Western Sahara).PNG is evidence of Takiva being Fredmurbel. And Fredmurbel is connected to Chronotak and User:ⵎⴰⵙⵏⵙⴰ. I don't block users lightly. There's a reason that not every reasonably experienced user gets to make blocks. At least some of this user's edits were reasonable, and until we could say there was a LTA involved, it looked to me like it might have been a salvageable situation (a new user, too inclined toward point-scoring, who might be able to be made to understand that is not OK). - Jmabel ! talk 20:39, 18 December 2025 (UTC)
