Ma eeldan, et sa said aru, kus sai viga tehtud ning sulle ei pea täiendavalt selgitama, miks see kustutamise taotlus ei tohiks ühestki asendist läbi minna ning miks oleks Ehin ainuke inimene maailmas, kellelt tuleks küsida selle kaanepildi kohta. Igatahes ilmus välja üks sügelevate näppudega administrator ja kuna see asi polnud suletud, siis ta sulges selle, aga seejuures fotot kustutades. Ole hea ja aita see jama lahendada. @Kruusamägi: . Mul on vahel pikad juhtmed, aga ma sain nüüd aru, kus viga sai tehtud. Iga Commonsi pilt peab olema kasutatav mingi litsentsi alusel. Sealhulgas Ehina raamatu kaanepilt. Missuguse litsentsi alusel? Kogu faili avaldasid CC BY-SA litsentsi all. Kui me eeldame, et kaanepildile kehtib mingi muu litsents, siis tekib kohe küsimus: milline siis? Kuidas kindlaks teha, kas kaanepildile kehtib BY-tingimus ja kas kaanepildile kehtib SA-tingimus? Vaat ei saagi. Seetõttu peame eeldama, et kaanepilt on avaldatud sama CC BY-SA litsentsi all kui ülejäänud failgi. BY tähendab, et autorit on vaja mainida. Kuid kes on kaanepildi autor? Mulle on jäänud mulje, et Ehin mitte. Ent kui autor pole teada, siis ei saa kaanepildi suhtes BY-tingimust täita ja siis pole kaanepilt praegu kasutatav. Ma näen kaht võimalust lisaks praegusele pildi hägustamisele. Pildi autor tuleb välja selgitada või autoriõiguste omanik peab saatma VRT-loa, milles määrab kaanepildile teistsuguse litsentsi, mis ei nõua autori nimetamist. Peale selle turgatas mulle pähe, et Ehin võis kaanepildi kasutamise õiguse saada sellise tingimusega, mis lubab tal pildi raamatu kaanele panna, kuid mitte seda muuks otstarbeks kasutada, näiteks Commonsisse laadida. Mulle on jäänud mulje, et sa pead sellist kaanepildi kasutamise lepingut võimatuks, mina aga pean võimalikuks. Ehina ja kunstniku vahelise lepingu üksikasju teadmata ei julge ma eeldada, et Ehinal on õigus kaanepildi jaoks Commonsile luba anda. Taivo (talk) 19:14, 29 September 2025 (UTC)

Räägime kaanel olevast pildist või kaane kujundusest? Esimene on siiski nähtav piiratud mahus ja viimase teenistuses ning vähemalt selle viimase (kuigi arvatavasti ka esimese) kõigi õiguste omanik on Kirjastus Kristiina Ehin (mis ei ütle muhvigi selle kohta, et kes olid need autorid selle konkreetse kujunduse taga).

Praktikas ei ole meil oluline mitte see, mis litsentsi all on täpselt see kaane kujundus, vaid see, et see kujundus ei oleks rohkem piiratud kui CC BY-SA 4.0 (sest tervikteosele rakendub just nimelt see litsents, mis on kõige piiravamal alamelemendil -- sisuliselt võib kaanekujundus olla ka CC0 listentsiga, aga kuna foto ise on CC BY-SA, siis järelikult on tervikteos ka selle litsentsi all ning üksikkomponentide kohta täpse informatsiooni eraldi väljatoomine pole kohustuslik).

Tehniliselt on muidugi võimalik ka lahendus, kus luba on ainult kujutise raamatu kaanel kasutamiseks, aga see on äärmiselt teoreeriline, kuna a) tegemist on väga spetsiifilise teosega, mis on tellitud kõigi eelduste kohaselt just nimelt selleks otstarbeks ja b) raamatu kaane kujutist on vaja kasutada paljudes kohtades ning ei ole mõtistlik jätta üles piiranguid, mis võiks eri kasutusviisidele (ka esialgu mitte ette nähtudele) olulisi takistusi teha. Ehk teoreetiliselt võimalik, aga äärmiselt ebatõenäoline ning puudub vähimgi vajadus igas olukorras tegeleda teoreetiliste vastuväidete ümberlükkamisega.

Lühidalt on minu väide selles, et osa inimesi on Commonsis ogaraks läinud ja arvavad, et teavad autoriõigusest kõike, kuigi läbivalt on näha, kus mittestandardsete juhtumite lahendmisel jäädakse jänni. Samal ajal talitletakse aga autoritega äärmiselt lugupidamatult. Ei ole mõtet luua illusiooni, et see on kuidagi Commonsi huvides. Kruusamägi (talk) 00:29, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

Hi. I am not familiar with reporting other editors at Commons so I will write here since you blocked Mario662629. Editor RaptorsFan2019 has admitted in this Wikipedia post being Mario662629. Could you block this editor? And can these blocks also be applied in Wikipedia without creating reports there? In addition, could you point me to a page on Commons that gives steps on how to report sockpuppets or other editors? This author made other strange uploads which I marked for SD. As their dewiki userpage shows, they use AI for their edits which are quite unconstructive. Hi Taivo! User @Satna wrongly marked this file for speedy deletion—twice. He had the best intentions and simply needed to request a regular deletion of the image (taken by him quite a few years ago), since the owner of the land where the construction is located (a neighbour of his) asked him to remove it. The file is no longer in use on gl.wikipedia, and we were wondering how to proceed in order to have it deleted from Commons as soon as possible. Could you help us mark it properly?  Not done. The file is not eligible for deletion at all. The uploader has no right to demand own uploads deletion without good reason (except shortly after upload, when any reason goes and actually no reason is needed at all). In my opinion this is exceptional piece of architecture and the file is needed to show, that such kind of buildings exist. Taivo (talk) 12:14, 1 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi Taivo. Thank you for your quick answer. Just a nuance: you're right, there is no question about the worthiness of this architectural piece, called hórreo; nevertheless, I would say the image uploaded by this user is not indispensable at all. Please check these two sets of pictures of hórreos for a fair comparison:

I guess we can agree that "Medeiro (Medeiro).jpg" is not an essential image. Well, this said, and since I am not familiar with Commons policies, could you please redirect me to an internal forum where the user and a couple of administrators from gl.wiki could re-explain the case and request this file's deletion? I know it is not a big issue, but the user would like to comply with this particular hórreo owner's wish - this being that his hórreo should not appear on Wikipedia. Hi again Taivo. Yes, I am aware that the building’s owner has no rights over this. His wish is simply the reason why @Satna is requesting the deletion of the photograph he took. Let me insist: As such, the picture has no particular value, neither from an informational nor from an artistic point of view, as a hórreo is a very common type of construction throughout Galicia - this place, Antas de Ulla, included. Anyway, thank you for your time and for this last piece of information too. I will keep in mind the possibility of directing him to commons:Village pump if no quicker option comes up, so that the issue can be arranged in the most efficient way. Regards. I claim that the obelisk is a work of architecture, not sculpture. This means that the rules of freedom of panorama in Russia can be applied to it. I opened the photo in full resolution (8000×6000 pixels). The black obelisk has sculptural works in middle and white stones in front of monument have engraved figures as well. But I thought: if the file resolution would be not so big, maybe it could be OK? I tried resolution 768 pixels height: black sculptures would be OK, but white sculptures would be still too well seen.
